We’re having company shirts silk-screened and will have them by the end of the month. They will price around $23 + $5 shipping and are American made (of course). The pics below are a rendition of how it’ll look. I’m also in the process of designing a new bar height table called Liberty. It’s pictured with some classic Emeco bar stools.
Also changed the home page and added some more pages including: Restaurant Furniture, Press, and a Blog link.
Here’s a new table style we have available which matches our Wright chairs and stools. The has an adjustable height which makes it work for counter and bar height. We also make this in dining to bar height. Available with a hardwood top as well as steel (pictured). As always, this is commercial quality, ready for everyday restaurant use. Pictured with our Wright bar chairs and stools which are available separately.
Price – $1,395 on up

Just shipped these 2 tables out. The French Column table has a 4′ riveted steel top. And the I Beam conference table has a 12′ aged sugar pine top and riveted trim. It weighs around half a ton.
We also have a new logo and tshirts coming out soon so stay tuned.
We’ve had several requests for custom kitchen islands lately. And our Ellis design makes a great one. This island is a little smaller than the last two, has an aged sugar pine top, with 2 drawers, and big shelf, and 2 doors at the bottom. We added a 10″ overhang on the back side to slide a few stools there. And finally, it has our vintage reproduction locking 6″ casters which makes it easy to move around, even though it weighs around 400 lbs.
Dimensions: 3′ D x 5′ L x 37″ T
Price as pictured: $3000
Here’s your chance to own the 1st Hure dining table to roll off the line, signed and numbered. I was going to keep it, but it’s too big for my house! It’s 4′ W x 8′ L x 30″ tall with a 2.75″ thick top. More info available on our dining table page: http://shop.retro.net/?page_id=653
Priced at $4,895 (this table sold but we build them to order!)
Here’s a variation of the Crank desk in dining table size built to seat 10. It adjusts from 30″ – 40″ in height and the 2″ steel top is 90″ x 38″. We put this on locking casters which makes it pretty easy to move around considering it weighs around 500 lbs. Our Wright chairs are on the left side, and our Wright stools are on the right.
This table is priced around $5700 and the chairs vary from $355 to $495 depending on the style and quantity.
Here’s our take on the old Toledo draftsman stools, we call it the Wright Chair. We took molds from the original seats and made them with maple. The round seat stool has a mahogany seat. The seats swivel and adjust in height 10″, and there is a locking mechanism to prevent swiveling. The base has an aged patina, and the wood has an aged stain. These are commercial quality chairs, ready for restaurant or everyday use. Seat adjusts from 25″ – 35″. We’ll have a dining height version soon that adjusts from 20″ – 30″.
Priced at $495 each, $475 for 4
A couple months back we had a chef approach us looking for some kitchen islands. We decided to use our Ellis design. They are similar in style, and mirrored on both sides. One has 2 doors on each side, some shelving in the center, and an overhanging top to work as a bar with our Wright stools. The other has 3 drawers per side, open storage underneath, and 2 enclosed storage bays under that. Each Ellis island (funny how it came out that way) has GFCI outlets on one side with wiring routed down to the ground. These are finished with 4 heavy duty locking casters, and aged sugar pine tops. Weight is somewhere around half a ton each, ya they are heavy!
Here are some pictures of our tables and a sign at The Garage in Chicago. Thanks to Jesse for sending them!
Here are some recent pieces we’ve made. Our shop has been quite busy with orders, new designs, and expanding the shop.
Here is one of 2 massive kitchen islands along with our Wright Stool.
Bolted coffee table with a walnut top. I hope to make this into a dining table with some refinements.
Ironworker shelf, stay tuned for a set of 3 huge ones that bolt together to make a massive piece.
Our first lit sign, inspired by a slot machine. It’s not finished yet, but you get the idea…
Custom Ellis console with 4 drawers and doors, and alder wood top/drawer fronts.
Last week I had an idea for a new restaurant cafe table. I started with a solid steel 2″ screw for the base. It pierces through the table top and has a 3″ nut which makes a very interesting focal point. This was designed as a fairly economical commercial quality table that would last forever, and catch people’s interest.
This table can of course be customized: A round and or wood top would soften the look, painted, chromed, brass or copper plated, use two bases to support a larger top, make it side or coffee table size, etc.
Priced around $1095, quantity discounts available. These are built to order and there is a lead time.
Finally, we finished our bar stool design. It’s similar to the old Toledo drafting chairs, with some updates. We have a couple versions, one that goes from dining height to counter, and one that goes from counter to bar height. The seat swivels and has a lock if you should want to lock it. The seat and back are made from bent maple, just like the original Toledo chairs, and have an adjustable angle. We can also put casters on these and paint them, chrome, copper or brass plate the steel, and do various stains on the wood. So they can be customized like most of our designs. This chair is commercial quality and ready for restaurant use.

Hand made in the USA at our shop.
Below are some hostess stands we made for a couple restaurants last week. These 2 designs can be customized to suit your needs. Pricing starts around $2895 and right now our lead time is at 8 weeks (it varies), so place your order soon to get it in time for your opening!
Both POS designs are built to last, and catch the attention of potential customers. We can also add brass accents (something new for us). Options include keyboard trays, drawers, menu holders, holes for wiring and POS computers, legs, casters, brass trim, hardwood accents, aged stenciling, etc. Although these pieces are new, we go through great lengths to age them from top to bottom.
