Just finished a pair of these for a customer. The design is based on a european vintage piece. They are all steel, riveted together with a thick steel top and an aged rust finish. These would work well as side tables, outdoor tables, use a couple of the bases to hold a coffee or dining table top, or use as a display table for your pet elephant. These measure 22″ x 22″ x 24″ tall and weigh around 75 lbs each. I can make these in a variety of size, finishes, and use different materials for the tops. Prices are around $995 each.

Double drawer vintage industrial filing cabinet – 34″ tall x 16″ wide x 27″ deep. Makes a unique side table and fits legal or letter size files with room to spare inside. The drawers were salvaged from an old filing cabinet and the rest was handmade. Available in custom sizes, finishes, with casters, and different drawer combinations. Heavy duty, solid design built to last!
With New York being a big inspiration for my designs, I set off to build a tribute to the amazing place. My clients in New York usually have a few things in common: they want something unique that has an industrial feel, it needs to be functional yet beautiful, and space is always an issue.
I feel these pieces meet all of those needs. They were built as 2 separate tables that can function as side or accent tables, yet when put together, they work as a coffee table. The custom font that I created makes them blocky as possible which leaves lots of top surface area. And they have latching doors so you can use them for storage (about 3.5 cubic feet each). You can also face the letters forward, or upwards. After I built them, I realized how heavy they were (120lbs approx). So these could be used as safes if I installed an optional lock.
Dimensions: 20″ x 20″ x 20″
Weight: 120 lbs each
Price: $1,350 for both

Here is a Manhattan coffee table, named after the bridge in NY. I wasn’t sure about the red color (which I modeled after the Golden Gate bridge) at first, but now that it’s finished, I love it! The hardwood top is aged white oak and has a waxed finish. It’s a simple design and has a familiar vintage look. Size is 40″ x 20″ x 19″ tall. Price is $795, or unpainted with a natural patina on the steel would be $695.
The other day I was looking at New York bridges and felt inspired to create a new design. I call this new piece the Manhattan table, named after the Manhattan bridge. It uses angle iron in a unique way, which lends itself to a strong structural design, while using less material. And I love the combination of cross braces, rivets, and bolts. It measures 11″ x 12″ x 23.5″ tall, has a raw steel patina, and a mahogany top with a dark vintage stain. Stay tuned for a Manhattan coffee table! This vintage industrial design would price around $350.
Just put this together for those looking for a quick tour of my work…
I finally got my European hardware order and finished what I call the 308 Shelf. I got this idea from a piece Wisteria used to sell a few years back but made some changes to the design and came up with this side table. It’s the size of an end table, but would work as a small shelf or rolling cart. It has a vintage French Industrial feel to it. Dimensions are 14″ x 22″ x 23″ tall and it weighs 37lbs. The wood is solid 1.5″ thick African mahogany with a vintage stain on it and I think this hardwood is GORGEOUS. And the iron has a vintage galvanized patina. The 4″ casters have locks to hold it in place.
Priced at $450 in this size. Next I’ll be making a console table size at 4′ x 14″ x 30″ tall.
Here are a couple examples of custom Brooklyn tables I made for a customer. The side table is 20″ x 20″ x 23″ tall and the square coffee table is 32″ x 32″ x 18″ tall. The customer wanted legs instead of caster wheels. I’m really happy with how they came out!
One of my first customers opened their doors a couple weeks ago (story here). Now New Yorkers can see my work in person and get a 5 star dessert at the same place. Most of my pieces have shipped to New York, and since my shop is in Arizona, I hope this helps those in NY with their purchases. So if you are curious about my work, stop by, take a look, and get some dessert. Also, this customer did the stain and finish on the wood themselves which goes well with their maple benches. The benches were not my work, just the 5 cafe tables.
On another note, it seems my website is getting some decent traffic from people searching for vintage/industrial furniture. Last weekend my site reached 10,000 hits.
Here are some examples of antique French furniture reproductions that I have done. I have a big picture database of mostly antique French industrial furniture pieces that I keep to inspire me. You are welcome to take a look at it and if there is something you like, let me know and maybe I can make it for you: French Industrial Furniture That Inspires Me
Below, the first piece is the original French piece, and the second is my version.
I made this to resemble a tool stand from a mid-century industrial factory. After some research and experimenting , I came up with a new dark stain for this piece and I love it. It has a real vintage look to it with lots of character, and so I named it the “Grandpa Stain”. The riveted iron frame has been distressed to give it a good “been in factory for a while” look. And it has a metal lower shelf which has been riveted in to the frame. It measures 26″ tall x 16″ x 16″.
Just finished 5 cafe tables for a soon to be famous restaurant in NYC called DessertTruck. They started as a mobile dessert company selling 5 star desserts out of a truck. You may have seen them featured on the Foodnetwork during a Throwdown With Bobby Flay. Now they are trying something different and opening a restaurant on 6 Clinton street.
The tables came out very nice and are 20″ tall, wide, and high. They went with a 1.25″ thick butcher block style top and a natural patina on the steel.
Here is a matching side table I made for a client to go with this French industrial inspired coffee table here. It measures 20″ x 20″ x 26″ tall. Custom finishes and sizes are available. Price $375.
