A good part of our business now is building furniture for offices, everything from Conference Tables to Filing Cabinets. We’ve made conference tables anywhere from 8 ‘ to 27’ long. Made with pride in America, our conference tables are like no others. Built to last into the next century, yet look like they were made in the early 1900s, a time when craftsmen put their all into work. So I created a page with info on what we can do along with specs and pictures.

We do have a lead time of at 6-12 weeks typically, so plan ahead! Don’t expect a custom table in 1 week, and we ship everywhere including Europe…

Our latest crank table is finished! It features two massive 5 ton screw mechanisms that support and adjust the top height (30″ to 45″), as well as two 12″ cast iron crank handles. Turn either crank handle to raise or lower the top. The base has 200+ rivets and bolts and is made from extra heavy duty gauge steel. It has an aged red finish, and a solid cherry wood top with metal trim. If you’re looking for a unique vintage industrial inspired table that will blow you and your guests away, well maybe this one is for you. Built to last 100+ years.

Most of the Industrial style furniture you find on the internet and in stores is made in Asia, mainly India and China. Often the quality is not so good. And the designs are often copies of somebody else’s work (like mine). So if you are thinking of buying elsewhere, I suggest you ask the shop owner where the piece was made. We’ve been doing this since 2009 and have such notable clients such as: MGM, Doubletree, Hyatt, The Four Seasons, and many more commercial establishments.

Floyd Dining Table

I finally got a chance to snap some pictures of our Floyd table base. We put a 10′ walnut top with a riveted edge on it. This 400lbs base will support a 12′ long top, or use dual bases and make a 20′ conference table. This French Industrial inspired base is reminiscent of the old cast iron machine bases from the early 1900s.  As pictured this would price around $5500.

New Adjustable Height Crank Table Design

By | commercial furniture, conference table, dining table | No Comments

We’ve been working on this new crank table design for a few weeks now. There was a lot of rivet work and details to build and I’m quite happy with the progess. It started as me needing a new desk for myself. I’ve been wanting to make a new more elegant Crank Table, so after designing on paper, we started building. I chose to use two massive 5 ton screw mechanisms to support the top. On each side we’ll have 12″ cast iron wheels to adjust the height which will go from 30″ to 45″. The base is 7′ long, and the top which we’ll be making next, will be 7′ x 40″ and most likely aged cherry wood with metal trim and bolted corners. The base was built from extra heavy-gauge steel, and adorned with rivets and bolts (at least 200). We had thoughts of going yellow or orange, but went with an aged red finish. Once this piece is completed, I’ll have some pictures to show, as well as specs and pricing. Hope this is next week!

This base will work perfect for a desk, dining or conference table.

Custom Vintage Industrial Office Furniture

By | commercial furniture, conference table, desk, filing cabinet | One Comment

Just finished a job for an office. All of the pieces were customized in some fashion and include desks, worktables, a conference table, file cabinets, and more. These were a blending of several designs: I Beam, Crank Table, Ellis, Bolted Table, and our riveted top. We used cherry, walnut and mahogany for the tops. These pieces are a good example of how we can customize pieces for clients.

New Table/Desk Designs

NYC gave us many new design and business ideas, always does. I started learning a little more CAD today and drew a couple ideas. Doesn’t have a name yet, but it uses C Channel, rivets and bolts as the basis and was inspired by some of the cities many bridges. Here are a couple color schemes, natural steel and an aged red. I added some Herman Miller Aeron chairs too.

Size pictured is 4′ x 8′ x 30″, and as usual, can be any size and customized. This table would price around $4500. I hope to have a real one built in the next couple months. If you can’t wait, your’s can be the first.
