Hure Dining Table / Desk
I have a love for the old cast iron bases made from the late 1800s to the 1940s. A French machinist named P. Hure built many different lathes and milling machines that stood on them. They are rare and very hard to find, especially in America, so I built this base as a tribute to him. It’s built with 1/4″ thick steel which is the heaviest gauge we’ve used to date. And the large connecting screw has a 2″ diameter with a 3″ nut that holds the two bases together. It’s massive and curvy lines blend well to support the 2″ thick worn oak top (2″ thick with the steel trim) which is adorned with metal trim and bolted corner protectors. As always, this piece can be customized to suit your needs, with different tops, as a desk with drawers, different heights, colors, etc.
The base is available separately (around $3200) , and we have plans to make this into a coffee and side table.
Pricing - Cherry, Mahogany or Worn Oak top with metal trim and bolted corners, Walnut is additional.
96″ long x 40″ wide x 30″ tall
120″ long x 60″ wide x 30″ tall
96″ long x 40″ wide x 42″ tall (bar height)
120″ long x 60″ wide x 42″ tall (bar height)
Also available in 42″ bar height (see last picture)
Bronx Crank Table
Our new crank table is finished! It features two massive 5 ton screw mechanisms that support and adjust the top height (30″ to 45″), as well as two 12″ cast iron crank handles. The base has 200+ rivets and bolts and is made from extra heavy duty gauge steel. It has an aged red finish, and a solid cherry wood top with metal trim. If you’re looking for a unique vintage industrial inspired table that will blow you and your guests away, well maybe this one is for you. Can be customized, built as a desk or table. The one below has a 7′ x 40″ cherry top. Available in various aged colors like red, orange, yellow, natural steel, etc, and can be made without the crank mechanism and a fixed height.

Floyd Dining Table
This table is another tribute to the old cast iron machine bases made from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This base was built to support a large top. The bottom plates are 1 3/8″ thick solid steel which makes it stable for large tops. It’s the heaviest base we’ve made to date and weighs in around 400 lbs, and it has a great vintage patina. It would support a 12′ top well, or use two bases to make a 20′ top. The walnut top pictured is 4′ x 10′ x 2″ and has a riveted metal edge.
Weight: around 650 lbs

A Frame Dining Table / Desk
I built this as a dining table but noticed it would do double duty as a desk. The A frame is built of heavy gauge steel and with 2 tubular cross braces with bolting ends. Adjustable Height Crank Table
Height adjusts from 25″ – 35″ with the 2 ton rated screw mechanisms. This piece has a 10″ cast iron wheel, crank the wheel and it goes up or down. The top is made of extra heavy gauge plate steel, or hardwood, and is accented with metal trim and bolted corners. This can be built as a dining or conference table, or a desk.
This entire piece was made by hand in our shop, and is an original design. It is pretty heavy, around 500 lbs. Available in custom sizes, with a steel or hardwood top, A tilting draftsman style top, and more.

I Beam Dining Table / Conference Table
Here is a pair of French Industrial design inspired dining tables. The top two pictured are 10′ x 42″ x 30″ tall and weigh around 1000 pounds. The third picture has a thicker undermount metal frame with a 10′ x 5′ top. The round table has a 48″ top, uses a smaller base, and weighs close to 400 pounds. The bases are riveted thick gauge steel and the removable tops are aged sugar pine. Prices vary for these pieces based on size and design, but you can have one like the round one for $3,500. These would also work great as conference tables. This piece can be tailored to suit your needs including custom sizes, round top, steel or glass top, polished steel, chrome or copper plated, etc. If you have an idea, let me know and I’ll get you a price and lead time.

Here is a sketch of a new design. It’s a pedestal style base adorned with rivets and bracing. Would function great with a medium size round, square or rectangular top. Or use two bases for a larger top. Available in dining or bar height.
Beam Table – $4500 approximately
NYC gave us many new design and business ideas, always does. I started learning a little more CAD today and drew a couple ideas. Doesn’t have a name yet, but it uses C Channel, rivets and bolts as the basis and was inspired by some of the cities many bridges. Here are a couple color schemes, natural steel and an aged red. I added some Herman Miller Aeron chairs too.
Size pictured is 4′ x 8′ x 30″, and as usual, can be any size and customized. This table would price around $4500. I hope to have a real one built in the next couple months. If you can’t wait, your’s can be the first.

WOW! This stuff is great. any chance you have a counter high table we can use in a great room. I would prefer round but would take whatever.
Hi Mandy,
Thank you. Most of the work I do is custom so making it counter high isn’t a problem. Which table did you like?
Thanks,
Greg
Would you sell only the stands for a conference table. I have a slab of marble that I need 2 i beam stands for it.
marble is 10′ x 4′.5″
I love the table but I’m interested in the barstools with seat back. How can I purchase?
Thanks!
Wow these tables our awesome!!
I prefer the A frame dining table… But i live in the Netherlands.
Is it possible for me to get one anyway?
Greg
First off you make outstanding furniture. I am in a business that is hard to sell and truly understand the value of what you do. I have already referred your site to some of our affluent customers.
I was wandering if you could let me know where you got the device that raises the table of the desk and the cast iron crank wheel. We are looking to use something like that to possibly have a tv lift for a customer and other items. Thanks and once again AWESOME WORK!
Jeff
Hi Greg,
Ready to order 30″ adjustable height table. Was wondering if you could make the base rounded like on your chairs rather than squared edges? Steel tabletop instead of wood?
Thanks, Dana
Hi Greg, I was wondering, the rack and pinion lift mechanism on your adjustable height table, how does it stay in place when you crank it. Does it have some sort of locking mechanism? The table top must be extreamly heavy what keeps it from crashing back down?
Good question, the gears keep it from moving, only cranking it moves the top.
Greg…
Absolutely beautiful!!!
I love the bottom right round table… can you do that in 72″ with a reclaimed barn wood look (faded grey)?
Many thanks
Hey – looking for a round dining table for 8. 72″ D would be great. Not looking for anything with rivets or too industrial-looking, just sleek and modern and simple would be great. Let me know what you can do and pricing. Thanks.
Hi Mark
I believe all the round tables I’ve done have rivets, and are industrial looking since that’s my style.
And now none of your images will load… grrrr
Sorry, sometimes Google can’t keep up with our bandwidth. It’s working now. Thanks for letting me know.
Greg
We are very intersted in an industrial style conference table 10-12 ft. What’s the lead time for something like that? Thank you. Keri
Im extremely interested in a dining room table. But I live in California and was wondering if you could send me some pictures of different tables. I am looking for rectangle. Im also looking for a smaller dining room table around 6ft or so.. Maybe a bit smaller.
Thank you
Tenesha
Just sent you an Email Tenesha.
I am interested in a dining table, weathered oak, probably, with a pedestal base. It’s going to be a tight fit and I don’t want to lose seating space. The dimensions are 84″x36″. Could you please tell me which table you would recommend and what the lead time would be?
Thank you,
Kristi
Hi there,
I am interested in just the “A” frames for a table.
Would you ship to Auckland, New Zealand?
If so would would be the approx shipping costs?
Thanks for you time.
Arron
I have a 30″ X 96″ X 2″ beautiful hard maple tabletop. I was wondering if you sell the HURE table base separately to fit that? I am close Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Thanks, Tom
What incredibly beautifully made furniture. You don’t happen to have an Australian distributor do you. This is exactly the type of furniture that we want to use in our Industrial Kitchen/Dining Room
The only thing we can find over here are the cheap asian imports. Not a patch on your workmanship and quality.
