Here is a variation of my Ellis design. It has 4 solid doors with ironwork that is riveted and bolted on, an internal shelf, 6″ cast iron casters, solid mahogany top and shelves, about 400 lbs of handmade steel and hardwood.  Ideal for a residential, or commercial setting. Built to last a lifetime and then some. This piece as pictured is priced around $3575. Without the hutch it prices around $2595.

Available in custom sizes, finishes, and can be tailored to suit your needs.

Ironworker Media Console

By | console table, media console, shelving | No Comments

My TV needed something under it so I decided on this French Industrial inspired design. The Ironworker Console Table, 48″ x 20″ x 32″ tall (custom sizes and finishes available), weighs around 200 lbs, on 5″ locking cast iron casters, a 50lbs steel riveted top, 124 rivets and 28 braces, aged sugar pine lower shelves, and a rust patina. It got it’s name in honor of the old time ironworkers who, back in the day, built things with pride to last. We can make this in many variations, sizes, finishes, enclose it, add drawers, chrome, copper or polished finish, etc. This would also make a nice kitchen island or worktable. Prices vary, but this size and finish runs $1,650.

New Vintage Inspired Caster Design

I’ll be making a run of casters soon similar to the design below. They’ll use a heavy duty 6″ cast iron wheel and have a rigid industrial frame. So they will roll but not swivel. I’ve been looking for casters like these for a year and can’t find them so I decided to make them. Pricing is going to be approximately $225 for a set of 4 and they will be handmade here in America, Phoenix to be exact.

Industrial Workbench For Sale

By | furniture, workbench | No Comments

(SOLD)

I picked up a couple of these tables today. I am keeping one and selling the other. I was told this table was used by a Nascar team as a work table to rebuild their car. It is VERY heavy duty and will probably support a ton or more. The 36″ x 96″ top is made of 1/2″ thick steel and the frame is made of 3″ round tube. It has heavy duty casters that lock the wheel and the swivel part which make it pretty easy to move around considering it weighs about 800 lbs. The height is 36″ which makes it nice for standup work, bar table or outdoor table. The top also overhangs 6″ all the way around, and it has a storage shelf underneath that is 17.5″ x 78″. The frame is powder coated gray and the top is raw steel with the natural coating from the mill. They used a waterjet machine to cut the triangular bracing underneath. Asking $950 (SOLD) for this table, free pickup in Phoenix, I’d have to check on shipping but it’s probably around $350-475. I can finish the top with an industrial clearcoat if you would like. And I can also repaint this if you’d like another color. This was custom made in America and new was around $2,000.

Brooklyn Coffee Table

Here is a slightly altered Brooklyn design coffee table with heavier casters, aged hardwood, and an inset top. I already have plans for a completely new design based on old bridge architecture.

Looking for Antique Casters?

This page is not being updated, see my Antique Caster page for current pricing.

I keep getting calls about the caster wheels I use, people are asking where I get them. When I first started this business, I was doing the same thing which was trying to source old or antique caster wheels for my projects. I did find a couple on Ebay, but they were very expensive or not a full set. So I decided to buy new casters and distress them through various processes I discovered. And recently, I decided to start selling the casters I use on my furniture. My stock changes all the time, but I can get (or have) 4″, 5″, 6″, and 8″ casters.
——
I have a set of 5″ swivel casters for $180 + $20 shipping. They use a 3/4″ threaded stem, have upper and lower ball bearings, are rated to 300 lbs each, and are 6″ in total height. The wheels are made of cast iron and have a flat black paint job. The frame of the casters has a weathered patina with some light rust. These are brand new, just distressed by me. Below is a picture of the set and a desk that uses the same wheels. I stock these casters with brakes or locks. Feel free to contact me so I can check my stock here: Contact Form

Below is a set of heavy duty industrial 6″ cast iron caster wheels. The swiveling wheels are 2″ wide and are rated to 900 lbs each. They also have a weathered patina on the steel with small amounts of rust. These are brand new distressed casters. Weight is about 8 lbs each! Set of 4 is $160 + $30 shipping.

Below is a picture of a 6″ swiveling caster with brake ($45 each), 8″ rigid caster ($50 each), 4″ swiveling ($30 each), and a 6″ rigid caster ($35 each). All of these are heavy duty, and very heavy. My stock varies so contact me if you are interested. 602-322-1111, or use my Contact Form.
