After looking around on the internet, I couldn’t find any nice industrial style media console tables. So I got an idea from an early 1900s vintage French piece and started a new design. The way the frame is built, it has moulding around the edges with large iron rivets keeping it all together. The lower cabinet can hold audio/video components and the cloverleaf screen door allows your remotes to work with the doors closed. And there is a hole in the back of the cabinet for wiring. The back of the frame is built to hold and hide wiring from the TV down to the AV components. The solid walnut top measures 48″ x 22″ and the piece is 32″ tall. Weight is around 170lbs. The heavy 6″ cast iron wheels make it easy to move around. This would also make a nice console table or credenza. Priced at $1,350

I have 2 new designs in my head. I am currently working a vintage French industrial inspired media console/TV stand table with 6″ casters. It’s based on this vintage buffet from Briggs House Antiques (they are asking $5,000).
The main differences will be the dimensions (48″ x 22″ x 30″ tall), caster wheels and a solid walnut top. I found some really cool cloverleaf design sheet metal for the cabinet fronts. And I went with big rivets instead of bolts for the construction because I like the look better. So far this piece is really heavy. I hope it weighs less than 150lbs for shipping purposes. Here is the piece at about 95% done. Just need to install the casters. This piece is finished now and you can see it here: Link
And the other piece is going to be a rolling shelf or console table similar to Wisteria’s design which is unfortunately no longer made. I heard they had quality issues so they stopped selling it. I just bought some African mahogany and ordered the hardware for this piece. Should look pretty nice once finished. I’ll have one of these made by early February because I LOVE this design.
2/18 It’s done now and you can see some examples here Link
Just finished this for a customer. It’s lower than usual, 15″ tall x 43″ x 23″. The drawers are extra big and it has larger handmade iron handles.
This French industrial era inspired coffee table offers sleek, architectural lines reminiscent of New York’s famous Brooklyn Bridge. The braces, button head rivets and bolts give this piece a cool, industrial look. The solid wood top and bottom slats were aged to a light grayish color and the ironwork has a flat finish with aged touches here and there.
The Brooklyn Coffee Table works perfectly in any city loft or apartment.

This versatile design can be tailored to suit your style. Mix and match steel and wood finishes, alter the size, create a console table or kitchen island, remove the wheels, add drawers, create a rust, chrome, or polished copper finish – the possibilities are endless. Below are a couple examples of custom Brooklyn tables.
Side table available: 20″ x 20″ x 23″
Square coffee table: 32″ x 32″ x 18″ (prices vary with size)
This dining table measures 5′ x 3.5′ x 30″ tall and is made of iron with a spruce top. The benches measure 44″ x 14″ x 18″ tall and were built for the table. It has a nice shabby industrial look to it with a rust patina sealed with a flat laquer, and grayish brown aged spruce. And it’s all really heavy!
I usually don’t post new furniture until it’s done, but I’m too excited to wait. I got the idea from a heavy duty vintage industrial workbench. I hope to have it finished this week. So far it’s been a lot of work making the 20 braces, drilling 58 holes (44 to go), and cutting 14 pieces of wood. But it’ll all be worth it when I am done. I named it the Brooklyn Coffee Table because it reminds me of the Brooklyn Bridge with all the rivets and braces. When it’s finished it will measure 39″ x 21″ x 18″ tall with 6″ casters.
Just finished 5 cafe tables for a soon to be famous restaurant in NYC called DessertTruck. They started as a mobile dessert company selling 5 star desserts out of a truck. You may have seen them featured on the Foodnetwork during a Throwdown With Bobby Flay. Now they are trying something different and opening a restaurant on 6 Clinton street.
The tables came out very nice and are 20″ tall, wide, and high. They went with a 1.25″ thick butcher block style top and a natural patina on the steel.
After numerous requests for a smaller version of my 2 drawer coffee table pictured here, I just finished one for a client. It also has iron handles I made instead of the wood pulls on the other table. Dimensions are 38″ x 20″ x 18″ tall and I can make them for $545 in this size if you are interested. There is also a matching end table.
Inspired from the French industrial era (circa 1940s), this table is constructed entirely of iron and is riveted together for a rugged industrial / retro look. It looks vintage but not beat up. The top measures 20″ x 18″ and it is 26″ tall making it ideal to use as a side table or an accent table. Priced at $325, contact us at 602-322-1111 for more information.
After making the previous French industrial era inspired table, I decided to make a smaller version without the drawers. It’s more at home in tighter living spaces like apartments and lofts. The frame is made of iron and the wood planks are aged to a nice gray and light brown patina. The caster wheels make it easy to move around rooms and also lock. Dimensions are 38″ x 20″ x 18″ tall. Price $395, call 602-322-1111
This table helped inspire this new design, the Brooklyn Coffee Table.
Just finished this French industrial era inspired coffee table with caster wheels. Dimensions are 48″ x 24″ x 18″ tall and it has 2 generous size drawers as well as locking casters to keep it in place. With two shelves and two drawers, it offers a lot of storage space for it’s size. Priced at $625 for this unique piece. Â Here is the same table, but in a smaller size and price: Link
Unique custom side table for sale. Vintage farmhouse inspired design with reclaimed wood, salvaged from a century old barn in Chino Valley (circa 1892-1907). The iron looks aged to match and is detailed with old style rivet construction. It is heavy for it’s size and very solid. The top measures 15.5″ x 26″ and it is 24.5″ tall. This is a one of a kind table with really beautiful wood and iron work.
Just finished this coffee table. It has an industrial vintage asthetic to it and measures 49″H x 28″W x 17″T. It’s a one of a kind and constructed of heavy gauge steel weighing approximately 50lbs. The finish on the steel is raw with a brushed, almost chrome look. It’s ready for paint, clear coat, or chroming, but I personally like the raw steel look. I will be creating more tables and chairs in this style so check back with me if you are interested.
