I took some pictures yesterday of some new pieces and designs…
308 Media Shelf – 84″ x 43″ x 18″ with space for a flat screen on the 3rd shelf
Ellis Media console – 7′ x 20″ x 18″ tall, has two doors and a center door with pipe legs
Industrial Toilet Paper Holder – Our shop needed one of these so I put this together. It’s definitely overbuilt, weighs around 10 lbs, and the Acme nuts keep the paper secure. The double holder will make sure you are never without a square again! – Price $225
Adjustable Height coffee table – 42″ x 42″ x 18-30″ tall, this heavy duty coffee table adjusts in height to double as a cafe or dining table. It has a 30″ square cutout in the center which will hold a piece of glass which allows you to see the workings of the design.
Here’s a conference table we recently finished for a client. It has a thick mahogany top with a riveted metal trim.
It was a lot of fun making these signs. They were just installed in Juneau, Alaska at Trove. If you are in the area, check the shop out!
We’re also working on 3 more sign designs to stay tuned…
We’re done moving, and as usual it took twice as long as planned. We’ve also expanded our workforce and our lead time is now 2-4 weeks at the moment. I’ve been hoping to lower it since 2009 and it’s finally happened! Let us know if you have rush orders and we’ll see what we can do.
All this week we were moving to our new shop located in downtown Phoenix. We’ll have it all setup next week. Our lead time has been 4-6 weeks for too long and my goal is to get it to 2-4 weeks. We are also hiring welders with fabrication experience so please spread the word if you know somebody. Hard workers with good attitudes will be compensated for their effort!
EDIT: We’ve found several great people and are no longer hiring at the moment.
I wanted to say thank you to all of our customers! With your help, we’ve outgrown our current space. Our new downtown Phoenix shop is in a historic warehouse that is currently being restored by owner Michael Levine. Our shop will be 4000 sf with room to expand to 20,000. This place is what Vintage Industrial is all about. This amazing building was designed by the architect (and Frank Lloyd Wright student) who did the Scottsdale Valley Ho.
We are currently hiring which will cut down on our 4-6 week lead time on custom orders (we’re shooting for 2-4 weeks) and allow for more new product development. And we found around 3 dozen original wooden gear molds that vary from big to huge! Hope to have these cataloged and up for sale soon. Thanks again for all of your support and stay tuned for more pictures and maybe a grand opening party!
Been working on a sign for our new shop. The pictures show the progress. It’s close to finished in the last 3 pics. If you are looking for custom signage for your retail space, office, restaurant or home, let me know what you are looking for and I’ll see what we can do. This will hopefully be hanging at our new shop next week. Why have a boring typical sign like everybody else? We can also do them with a distressed paint job.
This sign is 8′ x 3′ and it’s built like a tank.
Vintage industrial inspired restaurant tables. The first two pictures are my A Frame design table at a 40″ pub height. This table can be customized in many ways including various sizes, tops, finishes, etc. It’s priced around $1950.
The 3rd and 4th picture show my adjustable height Smith Commons table. It’s built to vary from 20″ – 30″ or 30″ – 40″ in height for dining on or to be used as a coffee or side table. It too can be tailored to suit your needs. Pricing as sized is around $995.
Discounts available for multiple orders.
I’m having a one-time sale on select in-stock pieces (up to 50% off). Buy now before they’re gone! Call us at 602-322-1111 to place an order.

Here are some pictures of my work at the Smith Commons restaurant in DC.
The 308 shelf can also be made with gray aged wood (similar to barn wood or beach aged wood) which is my personal favorite. Here is one I just made for my wife. Dimensions are 56″ x 21″ x 74″ tall. I have a couple of these in stock, one 4′ wide and the other 3′.
Here is a variation of my Ellis design. It has 4 solid doors with ironwork that is riveted and bolted on, an internal shelf, 6″ cast iron casters, solid mahogany top and shelves, about 400 lbs of handmade steel and hardwood. Ideal for a residential, or commercial setting. Built to last a lifetime and then some. This piece as pictured is priced around $3575. Without the hutch it prices around $2595.
Dimensions: 60″ L x 20″ D x 74″ T
Available in custom sizes, finishes, and can be tailored to suit your needs.
