I finally got my European hardware order and finished what I call the 308 Shelf. I got this idea from a piece Wisteria used to sell a few years back but made some changes to the design and came up with this side table. It’s the size of an end table, but would work as a small shelf or rolling cart. It has a vintage French Industrial feel to it. Dimensions are 14″ x 22″ x 23″ tall and it weighs 37lbs. The wood is solid 1.5″ thick African mahogany with a vintage stain on it and I think this hardwood is GORGEOUS. And the iron has a vintage galvanized patina. The 4″ casters have locks to hold it in place.
Priced at $450 in this size. Next I’ll be making a console table size at 4′ x 14″ x 30″ tall.
Amazing, amazing, amazing..this is awesome!
p.s. ever since you showed those inspiration pictures I couldn’t wait to see a finished piece, you did such a great job
Thanks Shannen. Ya I couldn’t wait to finish this. Took like 3 weeks round up the materials to make it. And my wifie wants a tall one for the kitchen now.
