Vintage Industrial Bookcase / 308 Shelf

By February 27, 2010 bookcase, furniture, shelving 10 Comments

Vintage industrial 5 tier bookshelf on heavy duty 5″ cast iron caster wheels. This is the 3rd piece I’ve made in what I call the 308 Shelf. It measures 74″ tall x 12″ deep x 36″ wide. The shelves are made of solid 1.5″ thick African mahogany and have a vintage tung oil finish. The entire piece is aged to look mid-century and was inspired by the French industrial era. Priced at $995…

Hi. I just found your blog. The Vintage Industrial Bookcase / 308 Shelf is fabulous, and I can imagine it would look great in many settings. In particular, I am looking for an alternative to a baker’s rack, and this just might be the thing. Please send purchase info, and I’ll peruse your other designs.

    Thanks!

Hi I am interested in this shelf. I found the same one on etsy and the measurements were different with the height being 57″. Can you please confirm and send me details on how to purchase? Would need to ship to Houston. Thanks!

The shelves are 15″ apart. I can also change this size if you need something different.
