Ellis Console Table – $2295 – on up
Based on a 1900s vintage French piece. The way the frame is built, it has moulding around the edges with large iron rivets keeping it all together. The lower cabinet can hold audio/video components and the cloverleaf screen door allows your remotes to work with the doors closed. And there is a hole in the back of the cabinet for wiring. The solid walnut top measures 48″ x 20″ and the piece is 32″ tall. Weight is around 170lbs. The heavy 6″ cast iron wheels make it easy to move around. This would also make a nice console table , rolling bar or credenza.
There are a lot of ways to customize this piece: Natural steel patina, rust patina, polished steel, mahogany / walnut / cherry / worn oak top, legs or casters, solid door fronts, enclose both shelves, no doors, customize the size, paint it, lower it, etc.
