Shelving

Ellis Shelf – $2,500 on up

Based on the Ellis design, this piece has aged solid cherry wood on the sides and shelves. The one pictured is 48″ wide x 16″ deep x 78″ tall, although it can be made in any size, and weighs in at 175 lbs (the cherry wood is heavy). This can also be enclosed like the original Ellis console with added doors. Caster would look nice too.

The Ironworker Shelf – $1,650 on up
This piece was inspired by the French Industrial era. It’s all handmade and built to last centuries. It is the sturdiest shelf I make, mainly because it has a bigger frame, 192 rivets, and 48 braces. I named it the Ironworker Bookshelf in honor of the old time ironworkers who, back in the day, built beautiful things with pride. We can build these in custom sizes and finishes tailored to suit your needs and give discounts for quantity orders. Available with legs or caster…

French Industrial X Brace Shelving – $1475 on up

Based on a 1960s French Industrial piece, this bookshelf has lots of cross bracing and over 120 parts all welded together. Other features include riveted corner bracing, locking 5″ spoke casters, gray aged sugar pine shelves, and a vintage patina on the steel frame.

308 Shelf – $595 on up

Vintage industrial bookshelf on heavy duty 5″ cast iron caster wheels. The first shelf pictured measures 74″ tall x 12″ deep x 36″ wide. The shelves are made of solid 1.5″ thick aged mahogany or sugar pine (depending on availability). The entire piece is aged to look mid-century and design was inspired by the French industrial era.

A wider versions of this design would use 6 casters. Available in an aged gray stain also, and can be tailored to suit your needs.

Interested in the industrial shelving that you have above. The one I am interested in is the one that is metal and wood with the X pattern on sides and back. Looking for 24W (depth and height no problem). Designer in san diego. Please email me what price with shipping would be.
    Thanks

    LOVE your work.

have a budget of around $500 and am looking for something tall and industrial. (i know. a little unrealistic.)

let me know if you have any options! love the patina-d piece, but have a hunch that’s out of my range.

    best,
    lizzy

  8. Greg says:

  15. Jeff says:

I have been looking for that type of flange everywhere for a project I’m doing at home. Would you mind sharing where you find those?

  16. Patrick says:

I have priced your components and worked with some of them: most of your pieces are not overpriced.

    Nice work, well presented.

  17. Greg says:

    Thank you Patrick.

  18. Chelsea says:

I would love to order a coffee table on casters, a bedside nightstand and a queen bedframe. Also 3 round top barstools, where the vitage wood is stained white. How do I order? Do you provide a quote? Thanks. Also how much to ship to San Diego, or I can pick up. :) Beautiful work, and I agree the imports just are not the same.

  19. Greg says:

    Hi Chelsea,

Do you have designs in mind for all pieces?

    Greg

  20. michelle says:

Have you thought of doing wine racks? Your stuff is beautiful!

  21. Greg says:

Yes, it’s on the list :)

  22. Moni says:

Beautiful! I absolutely love all of these pieces. They are however quite large and not suitable for my 1920s apartment size home. Is it possible to have them made in a smaller construction?

  23. Greg says:

    Hi Moni,

Yes, we build them to order. What design and size would you like?

  24. Sara says:

I love love love your stuff! Do you guys have any plans for decor pieces??

  25. Greg says:

Thank you, we’ve done a little decor, mainly signs.

  26. Love seeing the use of Kee Klamp in your projects. We’ve got a bunch more ideas on how to use Kee Klamp to build shelves on our site: http://www.simplifiedbuilding.com/projects/

  27. Hi,
What are the dimensions for the iron worker shelf? Can it be modified to be a little shorter (one less shelf)? What would the price be per each if purchasing 4 or 5 shelves?

What is the pricing for the 308 shelf if purchasing 4 – 6 shelves? What is the cost of shipping to Wenatchee, Washington?

    Sincerely,
    Cathy Rodriguez

  28. Jayne says:

Can you make the 308 shelf to be only 10 inches deep?
